Collective Investment Schemes (Mutual Funds)

A mutual fund (or unit trust) is an investment vehicle that pools the money of many individuals to invest in stocks, bonds, money market securities, real estate or some combination of these.

United Capital Balanced Fund: Offers you the benefit of a diversified portfolio of securities that cuts across the different asset classes It invests in equities and fixed income instruments. It invests in equities and fixed income instruments.
United Capital Bond Fund: The Fund’s assets are invested in Federal Government Bonds, Corporate Bonds and high quality money market securities.
United Capital Equity Fund: Investment in quoted equities that are traded on the NSE and can achieve high returns over short and long term periods.
United Capital Money Market Fund: Allows you to invest in high quality money market instruments like Treasury Bill and Certificates, Commercial Papers and Banker’s Acceptance.

  • Funds are open-ended
  • Memorandum listing on The Nigerian Stock Exchange
  • Minimum investment – N10,000 and multiples of N1,000 thereafter
  • Separate statutory reports to the Securities and Exchange Commission
  • Separate accounting/auditing of the fund
  • Weekly valuation to determine the Bid/Offer Price for Entry/Exit
  • Redemption by managers between 1 – 5 days
  • Re-Investment of dividend at the unit holders’ discretion

This service offers investors attractive and predictable return on their investments for tenors ranging from 30 to 365 days.

United Capital Nigerian Eurobond Fund: The United Capital Nigerian Eurobond Fund is an open-ended mutual fund that is invested in Dollar denominated Eurobonds, floated by the Federal Government of Nigeria, Nigerian top tier banks, and corporates.
